We are famous..well we 'might' be:)

Had the local newspaper on the phone this week, they are running an article about people from the region who are going to Crufts and my number was given to him!
It might not end up in the paper as im sure he's talking to a few people but I had to send him a picture this morning and he says the piece will be in Monday's Chronical..bet I forget to buy it:))))

Found it difficult to keep up to date with blog and everyone elses its been so busy at work and i've developed a 'lovely' cold.

AliG has done some of his rope circling work this week ,which I havent done for a while, and Wednesday Jo rode Polo so we got them out on a hack together.
We went a different route to see how he did and apart from his ears going back a couple of times he was fine.I checked him as soon as he did it which he seemed to respond to,we played around with postion Polo infront, slightly behind, alongside etc and the reaction seems to be when Polo is coming alongside then slightly infront.AliG was horrified when we had a trot and Polo roared off infront but then settled and didnt panic or rush to try and catch him up..strange isnt he?

Anyway in full of cold and the forecast is pants but hoping to get more done over the weekend.

Strange? VERY odd, not to try and catch up after being fussed about not being in front. If he's not worried about beind behind, is he worried about being bullied and just trying to get one in first?

Do we have to pay to comment on the blog of a Famous Person :-) ?

H-m-m-m. Famous person blogs can get pretty busy. I sure hope there will be room left for us regulars to post. *G* Now, wait a minute, is it famous person blog, or famous dog???

AliG's behavior is interesting indeed. Caroline might be on to something. He may be defensive thinking he is going to be pushed around. Good, though that he didn't run off after Polo. That is pretty impressive.

The more I think about it the more I get confused!
He's pretty confident and self assured around other horse's.He certainly didnt backdown or act wary of Polo in the beginning and their relationship seems pretty equal in the field, AliG could actually be slightly dominant of Polo in the field in a subtle way.
He'll stand alongside other horses on the yard etc? It just seemed that point when Polo came alongside and slightly ahead created a small reaction.....

Anyway off to sign some photo's so im ready when the hordes of fan mail comes in :)))))))))

ah! I've been in the journal twice!

but seriously, well done, and they usually do really good photos, my ma bought the one of me from the first time (a piece about people from "working class jobs" moving upwards, i think it was....)

Oh can you scan the photo and post it on here?

Let us know which class you do on Cruft. Usually they broadcast it on BBC, I will try to watch out for you :-)

im not saying anything HONEST!!!!!!:)))

We are there on the Sunday in Post Graduate Bitch. In theory it should have more TV coverage cos its Best in Show day although when you see it on the TV the Borders seem to get very little coverage. We think its because they are so popular and people are breeding a lot of rubbish now:(

Getting nervous now:0 thats my excuse for doing bog all with the boys this weekend other than give them both a good brush..the gales dont help matter.
