Phew what a weekend

Im worn out and its only Monday!
On phone internet which is faffy to post so i'll keep it brief.
Saturday went to a dog show, its the local club where i never get placed and guess what true to form didnt get anything:) Had only entered Buster cos i didnt want to be there all day. We still had lots off positive comments from outside the ring just not in the ring. I noticed the Chairman &Treasurer of the club had entered their own show dont know anywhere else this would happen?
Anyway bit more practice for Buster who was very excited about it all for some reason.

Sunday i had a lesson on Ali with the lady from over the road. Its was very good she's a real task master but thats what i need as im terrible for losing focus it was very much along the lines of what i was doing when i was down at St Pirans which is great.

Lots of stuff going on at home as my sisters newborn has been poorly turns out he's lactose intolerant so the milk has been making him very ill poor little lad had a hernia with crying from the pain. Hopefully he'll be on the mend now.
Just to top things off my niece.the one who rode Polo with me, has been prolapsing when going to the toilet so she was in hospital today for an op.
She's fine but had to wait till 2in the afternoon for the op so was very upset with hunger..wouldnt you think they'd do a baby early!

Good heavens!! Hope everyone is recovering well. Poor little baby. He simply couldn't tell anyone what was wrong. An allergy like that can be really miserable.

Lessons focus me too. It's always better with someone on the ground organizing your thinking for you. *G*

As for the dog show..yet again, politics run rampant. You know Buster has high level potential, so I'm glad you saw it as just a practice session for him. Experience will only help him in the "real" shows.

now that's interesting Nicola - might it be worth my while asking her to come to me? will she, even?

the horse I rode Saturday was bought from PMG....

pressed post before i realised i hadn't actually finished writing... duh.

is it worth your while complaining about the show? is there a higher body than the club committee?

and does a paediatrician have to be as good as a vet when diagnosing for someone who cannot communicate where it hurts and when?

Im not sure she travels Claire she works full time&seems to be away competing most weekends but I can ask...the really good thing is its £15per hour:)

My sister says the baby is much happier &settled but she's had to abandone breast feeding, even though she'd cut all dairy out of her diet he still wasnt comfortable. She had a real job getting the doctors to believe there was a problem as they kept saying he was just colicy. Eventually they took them in for 3days of tests and observation which made them realise how much pain he was in!
My niece is doing ok after the op although has been pretty subdued &a bit sore.
Its been a heck of a time for them all!

Dont think there's any point complaining about the club Claire from what Peter's told me most of the smaller shows are like this its why he doesnt tend to go to that many.
When i think back all of Mouse's good placings have been at the big champ shows where in theory it 'should' be harder to get anything but the judges are from all over the country:)
At the club shows everyone knows everyone&this person has bought a pup from that person etc...it could get disheartening if i wasnt aware of the politics going on!
The silly thing is the chairman&treasurer have both complemented Buster at two other shows:):)
Never mind we'll keep plugging away.
